Privacy notice

This notice explains what SEAVIA Boats collects when you browse this site, save boat preferences or send an inquiry, how that information is used and how to reach us about it. SEAVIA Boats is a brand operated by Guangdong Ecocampor Vehicle Co., Ltd..

Who is responsible

Guangdong Ecocampor Vehicle Co., Ltd., No. 7 Huiying Road, Baini Town, Sanshui District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province 528100, China operates SEAVIA Boats and this website. For anything about your information, email jacklau@seaviaboats.com or call +86 153 3888 8949.

WhatsApp contact

WhatsApp is the primary contact channel on this website. Contact links open WhatsApp with a draft containing the page path and, when you choose them, your model, equipment preferences and destination. Review the draft before sending it. Opening a link does not create a website inquiry receipt or send a message automatically. WhatsApp processes information under its own privacy policy. SEAVIA receives the message and contact details you choose to share when you send it. Existing website inquiry records and saved preferences remain subject to the retention terms below.

Website inquiry records

For inquiries previously submitted through our website form, the records include: your name, an email address and/or phone number, your company if you write as a dealer, your country, region and optional postal code, the model you are interested in, any saved preferences you attach, and optional details about your budget, timeframe and how you plan to use the boat. We also record the inquiry reference, the version of this notice you accepted, and limited source attribution: the source, medium, campaign name and landing-page path from your first public-page visit while the attribution cookie is active. When there is no campaign tag, the source is recorded as direct. Later campaign visits do not overwrite that first visit during the cookie’s lifetime. We do not keep the full landing-page query string in that attribution record. To limit abuse we keep a short-lived, hashed record of your network address.

  • Saved boat preferences are stored against a random token kept in a cookie on your device for 30 days; they contain your model, chosen preferences and country only.
  • We do not ask for payment details or identity documents on this website. Please do not include them in your message.

Why we use it

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, review whether the model and configuration can be supplied for your destination, prepare a quotation, keep a record of the request and prevent misuse of the form. We rely on your consent when you tick the acknowledgement box and on the steps you ask us to take before any agreement; we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure for the abuse-prevention records.

Who receives it

Authorized SEAVIA staff handle inquiries. Inquiries are queued on our servers for delivery to the customer-relationship system we use to manage them. If your request needs local handling we may introduce a regional partner or dealer for that inquiry only, and we tell you when we do. Hosting and email service providers process data on our instructions. We do not sell your information and do not use it for third-party advertising.

International processing

SEAVIA Boats operates from China. Your information may be processed there and in the country where our web servers are hosted. Where the law of your country requires safeguards for such transfers, we apply them.

How long we keep it

Saved preferences are removed after they expire (30 days). Abuse-prevention records expire within hours. Inquiry records are kept while your request is open and afterwards as a record of the correspondence; you can ask us to delete an inquiry earlier, and we will unless we need to keep it for a legal or accounting obligation.

Cookies

This site uses seavia_configuration when you save boat preferences (30 days), seavia_attribution to remember your first public-page visit during its 30-day lifetime, and session cookies for staff sign-in. The attribution cookie is set by the server and cannot be read by page scripts. It stores the source, medium, campaign name and landing-page path, excluding the full query string. The source is direct when there is no campaign tag, and later visits do not replace the first-visit attribution while the cookie is active. An older utm_source cookie may still be read for compatibility until it expires; the site no longer sets that cookie. We do not use advertising cookies. We use Plausible Analytics, served from analytics.platinumbear.ai, to understand website visits and navigation.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, withdraw your consent for an inquiry, or object to a particular use by emailing jacklau@seaviaboats.com. We answer as quickly as we can and within any period the law that applies to you requires. You may also raise a concern with the data-protection authority in your country.

Children

This website is meant for adults researching boats. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16; if you believe a minor has sent us an inquiry, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this notice

We record the version of this notice (currently 2026-09-14) with every inquiry. If we change how we handle information we will update this page and the version identifier.
